Fastest 3000 runs: Rizwan breaks Virat Kohli, Babar Azam’s record

RAWALPINDI: (Web Desk) Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has broken the records of Virat Kohli and Babar Azam by completing the fastest 3,000 runs in T20I cricket.
The 31-year-old crossed the milestone in his 79th T20I innings during the second T20I against New Zealand at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
He has become the fastest player to do so ahead of Kohli and Babar (81 innings each), and the second Pakistani player to cross the 3000-run mark in T20I cricket. So far, only Babar has accumulated 3,712 runs for Pakistan.
