This decision was made during a high-level meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif in Riyadh.
Both sides discussed to expand their institutional collaboration between their interior minister and to review their ongoing security coordination.
During the meeting, they also decided that the next session of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia Interior Ministries working group will take place in the coming month to further advance the newly agreed initiatives.
Prince Abdulaziz expressed his condolences over the recent attack on the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar, honoring the sacrifices of the personnel who lost their lives.
The two leaders also discussed the legal status of Rohingya Muslims living in Saudi Arabia. Naqvi referred to Saudi Arabia as a second home for Pakistanis and highlighted the strong bond between the two countries.
During his regional visit, the interior minister met with Qatar’s Minister of Interior, Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Their talks centered on collaboration between law enforcement agencies, joint initiatives against drug trafficking, and enhanced coordination among coastal security units.
Naqvi also expressed gratitude to Qatar for assisting in the establishment of a modern firing range at the National Police Academy in Islamabad and extended an invitation to the Qatari minister to visit Pakistan.
