
According to medical records obtained by people, Hogan passed away from a heart attack (acute myocardial infarction) on July 24, 2025.
His real name was Terrence Gene Bollea. Medical records revealed he had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, health issues not known before. He was also approved for cremation.
According to emergency dispatch audio, police and medics were called to his home in Clearwater Beach, Florida, just before 10 a.m. Hogan was found in cardiac arrest, and rescuers tried to revive him for 30 minutes before he was taken to a hospital and declared dead.

The WWE released a statement expressing their sorrow, calling Hogan “one of pop culture’s most recognizable figures” who helped WWE grow worldwide in the 1980s.
Friends like Ric Flair and John Cena were shocked by Hogan’s death. Jimmy Hart said he spoke to him just a day before. Eric Bischoff shared that Hogan felt too weak to be seen and was embarrassed by his condition.
Hogan had also admitted in 2024 that he’d had over 25 surgeries in 10 years, including back, knee, hip, and shoulder surgeries. Despite past health and legal troubles, Hulk Hogan remained a huge name in wrestling and pop culture.
He is survived by his wife Sky Daily, ex-wives Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel, and his children Brooke and Nick Hogan.
