In a bid to bring critical identity services closer to Pakistani expatriates, NADRA has established mobile registration vans in Burton on Trent (Birmingham), Middlesbrough (Bradford), and Belfast (Manchester)—these temporary units will enable overseas communities to obtain or renew CNICs, apply for or update NICOPs, and register Family Registration Certificates (FRCs) without visiting permanent service centers.
NADRA officials emphasise that the drive is especially helpful to those who face long fares or delays at consulates—particularly the elderly, women travelling with children or extended families, and individuals who have struggled with the Pak ID app. Each site will include dedicated female counters and staff to ensure privacy and dignified access.

The Pak ID mobile app has recently been upgraded to include:
· Online applications for CNIC renewal, FRCs, NICOPs, and POCs
· Functionality for registering births, marriages, and deaths
· A Single Sign-On system enabling job applications within the public sector
· These improvements reflect NADRA’s shift from the discontinued web portal to a more user-friendly and responsive mobile interface.
What to Bring & What to Expect
· Existing CNIC or B-Form, to expedite processing
· Familiar credential names and family details used in Pak ID, to avoid mismatches
· Potential queue but no fee—fees only apply for urgent reprints or executive-level services
· Officials warn: strict COVID-era SOPs may apply—carry sanitiser and maintain spacing
Residents in London, Manchester, and Glasgow are encouraged to follow NADRA’s UK Facebook pages or WhatsApp alerts for exact venue announcements in the three cities. Locations are expected to be central community centres or parks, open mid-morning to early evening over both days.
This drive underscores NADRA’s commitment to a two-pronged strategy: making life easier digitally through Pak ID, while also reaching out physically to diaspora communities abroad—ensuring no one is left behind due to lack of mobility or tech access.
