(Web Desk): The three-day lavish wedding celebrations of billionaire Jeff Bezos, founder of the world-famous American e-commerce company Amazon, and journalist Lauren Sanchez will begin today.

According to a foreign news agency, Jeff Bezos and Loren Sanchez had arrived in Italy for their wedding, where their wedding ceremony was to take place in the city of Venice.

Now, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have reportedly changed the venue of their lavish wedding celebrations in Venice due to protests from local activists and security concerns. Originally planned at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, the main reception has now been relocated to the Arsenale, a fortified historic shipyard complex.

The activist group “No Space for Bezos” claimed the change as their victory, saying their threat to fill nearby canals with inflatable crocodiles   resulted in the shift of venue. “We feel as if we scored a victory,” said an unnamed protester. The activist group criticized the idea of “one man renting a city for three days” as obscene.
