DOHA (Web Desk): PM Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Qatar on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to strengthen trade and energy cooperation.

At King Hammad International Airport, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was warmly received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, senior officials, and other ministers.

The visit highlights the strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar and reflects both countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.

During his stay, PM Shehbaz Sharif will hold a bilateral meeting with Qatar’s Emir to discuss the full spectrum of relations, including political engagement, economic collaboration, energy partnerships, and people-to-people exchanges.

The two sides will also explore new opportunities in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and manpower export. Both countries share long-standing trust and maintain close coordination at regional and international forums.

The visit will provide a platform for the leaders to exchange views on regional and global developments, reaffirming their commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
