KUWAIT (Web Desk): Iranian drone strike injures fifteen American personnel at Kuwait military base as regional tensions rise following ongoing conflict developments.

An Iranian drone strike targeted the Ali Al Salem air base in Kuwait, leaving 15 American personnel injured, according to a CBS News report citing two US officials. Most of the injured have since returned to duty after receiving treatment. The base, located about 37 kilometers from the Iraq border, serves as a key hub for US military operations in the region, making it strategically important.

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated sharply following a joint offensive on Iran by the United States and Israel on February 28. Reports suggest that the conflict has already caused significant casualties, further intensifying the situation.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) later announced that it carried out additional strikes under its Operation True Promise 4 campaign, claiming to have targeted military aircraft at the base using missiles and drones.

In response to ongoing hostilities, Iran has also launched drone and missile attacks on Israel, while extending its actions to areas such as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries where US forces are stationed.

Authorities have also reported that Iran has imposed restrictions on maritime movement through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route, adding further pressure to international trade and security concerns.

The situation continues to develop as military actions and counteractions raise fears of broader regional instability, with global attention focused on possible next steps by all involved sides.
