TEHRAN (Web Desk): Iran president says millions ready to sacrifice amid ceasefire rejection as tensions rise and demands for sanctions relief grow.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that more than 14 million people in the country are ready to sacrifice their lives for national defense.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, he stated that he also stands among those willing to make sacrifices for Iran, reflecting a strong national stance amid ongoing tensions.

His remarks come at a time when Iran has rejected calls for a temporary ceasefire and instead presented its own conditions for a long-term solution.

Officials in Tehran have demanded a complete end to hostilities, the lifting of international sanctions, and compensation for damages caused by attacks they attribute to Israel and the United States.

The Iranian leadership has made it clear that any agreement must focus on lasting peace rather than short-term pauses, signaling a firm and uncompromising position.

Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly shared its response to US proposals through Pakistan, highlighting Islamabad’s role in ongoing diplomatic efforts.

A senior Iranian official confirmed that a ceasefire proposal was received via Pakistan, showing that backchannel talks remain active despite rising tensions.

Diplomatic activity is increasing as regional and global players try to find ways to reduce tensions and reach a stable solution.
