According to an international news agency, a report by CNN confirmed that Iran carried out major strikes at the beginning of the conflict. The report said that the radar of the advanced THAAD missile defense system in Jordan was destroyed in the early phase of the war.
The report further said that Iran also targeted THAAD radar systems at two locations in United Arab Emirates. However, the exact level of damage is still unclear because the radar system in the UAE was installed inside a protected building.

According to the report, Iran tried to weaken the enemy air defense network by targeting communication systems, radar installations and surveillance equipment.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Ali Mohammad Naini, said Iran is fully prepared for a long war if the situation escalates.
He also said Iran will soon introduce new strategic weapons that have not yet been used in the current conflict.
The report suggests that Iran is focusing on disabling radar and communication systems first. This strategy can weaken air defenses and create pressure on opponents. If such attacks continue, the balance of power in the conflict could shift quickly.
