Iran strikes claim: US radar, anti-drone systems destroyed as tensions rise
(Web Desk): Iran claims retaliatory strikes destroyed US anti-drone systems and radar, targeting military assets and personnel across the Middle East.

In a significant escalation of regional tensions, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed a series of retaliatory strikes targeting United States military assets and personnel across the Middle East.

According to Iranian officials, multiple attacks were carried out using missiles and drones, allegedly destroying key anti-drone systems, early warning radar systems, and military equipment stationed in different countries.

Al-Kharj Strike Targets US Personnel and Aircraft

Iranian Brigadier General Seyed Majid Mousavi stated that Iranian forces targeted residential facilities housing around 200 US pilots and military personnel in the Al-Kharj region of Saudi Arabia.

He further claimed that an American AWACS surveillance aircraft was destroyed in the same area, along with damage inflicted on several other aircraft during the strikes.

Naval and Drone Attacks Across Gulf Region

The IRGC Navy also claimed responsibility for four major attacks targeting naval vessels, military gatherings, radar installations, and drone defense systems in the region.

In the coastal waters of the United Arab Emirates, an alleged drone strike targeted a US Marines boat as it departed from a military base.

Meanwhile, near Manama airport in Bahrain, Iran claims it destroyed a US HAWK anti-drone defense system belonging to the United States Fifth Fleet.

Radar Systems Destroyed in Kuwait

Iran also claimed that two early warning radar systems were destroyed in a drone attack at the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.

These systems are considered critical for detecting aerial threats, making their alleged destruction a major claim in the ongoing conflict narrative.

Operation “Waad-e-Sadiq IV” Expands Target List

During the 88th wave of Iran’s military campaign, referred to as Operation Waad-e-Sadiq IV, Iranian forces reportedly targeted an Israeli-linked container vessel, “Express Half-Owing,” using missiles.

Iran has also issued a warning that 18 major US tech companies' offices in the region could be targeted, accusing them of supporting intelligence operations through artificial intelligence and internet technologies.

Strike Near Al Minhad Base in UAE

Iranian media further reported a strike near the Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE, allegedly targeting a secret US installation believed to house at least 200 American personnel.

US Response: Continued Air Campaign Over Iran

In response, US military leadership, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, indicated that air superiority operations have intensified, with B-52 bomber flights now active over Iranian territory.

Officials stated that more than 11,000 strikes have been conducted so far, targeting missile systems, drones, naval assets, and logistics networks linked to Iran’s military operations.

Rising Regional Tensions

The situation marks a dangerous escalation in the Middle East, with multiple countries and military assets now involved either directly or indirectly. Independent verification of these claims remains limited, and the situation continues to evolve rapidly.
