News agencies reported that missiles struck areas in western Jerusalem, igniting fires and causing panic among residents. Emergency sirens sounded across multiple cities, forcing civilians into bomb shelters.

Israeli authorities confirmed that at least seven civilians were wounded in the attacks, while several vehicles were destroyed and properties suffered significant damage.

Missile Strikes Extend to West Bank, Regional Alarm Grows

Reports indicate that missile launches also targeted parts of the West Bank, intensifying fears of broader regional escalation. Air defense systems were activated as explosions echoed across urban centers.

Meanwhile, Jordan summoned the Iranian ambassador in protest, expressing deep concern over rising regional instability following the latest attacks.

Iran Claims Heavy US Casualties and Naval Strike

Iranian state media claimed that 560 US troops had been killed or injured in recent developments. Tehran also asserted that Iranian forces targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with four missiles.

Additionally, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for missile strikes on three US and British oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, alleging that the vessels were set ablaze.

There were also reports of attacks on a US military base in Bahrain, though independent confirmation of these claims has not yet been verified.

Israel Responds With Fresh Strikes on Tehran

In response, Israel reportedly launched a new wave of airstrikes on Tehran. Witnesses described heavy bombardment, loud explosions, and skies illuminated by anti-aircraft fire as smoke billowed over the capital.

The Israeli government extended the nationwide state of emergency until March 12 and placed security forces on high alert.
