Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said its air defense shot down a US F-15E Strike Eagle near Iran’s southeastern border using advanced systems of its Aerospace Division.
The US Central Command quickly denied the claim, calling it “baseless and not true.”
The IRGC also said it launched Khorramshahr-4 missiles early Thursday towards Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and the 27th Squadron of the Israeli Air Force. The missiles reportedly carried 1-tonne warheads.

According to the statement, the missiles also struck 20 US military targets in West Asia, including in Bahrain, the UAE, and Kuwait. Iran described Khorramshahr-4 as a medium- to long-range missile with an estimated range of 2,000 km and one of its largest warhead configurations.
The US-Iran conflict entered its sixth day, with Iran claiming drone attacks on a US military site in Kuwait and another in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan. Iran’s state media said the Erbil attack targeted the “headquarters of the American aggressor forces.”
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs claimed that the death toll from US and Israeli strikes has reached 1,230. AFP has not independently verified this number.
