The Israeli attack reportedly occurred just days before scheduled talks on Iran’s nuclear program, raising concerns over a breakdown in diplomacy.
Sanders said the strike endangered regional stability and undermined ongoing efforts toward de-escalation.
He also claimed that Israel’s move “put the lives of countless civilians at risk” and “Undermining U.S. diplomatic efforts.”
Talks to address Iran’s nuclear program were planned for Sunday. Instead Netanyahu launched illegal strikes on Iran, killing a top ceasefire negotiator, undermining U.S. diplomatic efforts & putting countless innocent lives at risk. We can’t be dragged into another Netanyahu war.
