The US President, while announcing a 50% tariff on imported steel, said that he would discuss trade and tariffs with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He hoped that the US-China differences on trade and tariffs would be resolved.

Donald Trump added that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas could happen soon.
