(Web Desk): Drones will be used to prevent illegal Hajj in Saudi Arabia, and surveillance will be carried out within the boundaries of Mecca.

According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, hundreds of people have been arrested on a daily basis with the help of drones. According to reports, four Indonesians are under arrest for running a fake Hajj permit advertising campaign in Mecca.

Another 14 people were arrested from the homes of the arrested individuals. None of the arrested individuals had a Hajj permit.

On the other hand, in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has installed 20 e-gates at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina for the convenience of pilgrims.

The SDAIA is promoting the use of artificial intelligence in collaboration with immigration and other institutions to ensure better and faster facilities for Hajj pilgrims at the airport.

According to reports, SDAIA has arranged more than 30  passport reader  devices at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, in addition to e-gates, to make the immigration process for pilgrims faster and easier so that pilgrims do not face any delays in the immigration process.

According to reports, teams from the SDAIA Center have also been deployed at the airport on a regular basis so that any problems or system downtime can be rectified immediately.

Additional staff has been deployed at the passenger arrival terminal at Medina Airport, while 4 sensitive units with the latest fingerprint scanning systems have also been provided.
