(Web Desk): The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has imposed a new ban on Umrah pilgrims. Now Umrah visas will only be issued to those whose accommodation is confirmed with an approved hotel booking on the "Nusuk Masar" digital platform.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, this decision was made to provide better facilities for pilgrims and eliminate illegal accommodation. All international pilgrims must confirm accommodation in a hotel approved by the Saudi Ministry of Tourism before applying for a visa.

Sources say that Saudi authorities have instructed Umrah service providers to accommodate pilgrims only in licensed hotels to ensure quality and convenience. In case of violation, visas will not be issued and legal action may be taken.

This initiative is part of the government s efforts to further develop religious tourism and provide quality facilities for pilgrims under the Saudi Vision 2030. The "Nusuk Masar" platform is designed to provide pilgrims with accommodation confirmation, booking and other facilities in one place.

Saudi authorities have instructed pilgrims to complete their accommodation bookings in a timely manner to avoid any difficulties.
