Medina recognized among world’s healthy cities again

(Web Desk): The Saudi Arabian city of Medina has once again achieved the status of a healthy city.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Medina has been awarded the status of a healthy city for meeting 80 WHO standards. The World Health Organization certified Medina as a healthy city.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Governor of Medina, Prince Salman bin Sultan, received a certificate of certification from the World Health Organization from the Minister of Health.

It should be noted that Madinah Munawwarah was previously awarded the title of Healthy City for the first time in 2019.

Prince Salman bin Sultan, Governor of Medina, said that Medina s regaining the status of a healthy city reflects the leadership s determination to improve the quality of life for its people.

He emphasized that Medina s continuous transformation is making it a prominent development model regionally and internationally.

The WHO has also recognized 14 other healthy cities in Saudi Arabia. These include Taif, Tabuk, Ad-Diriyah, Unaizah, Jalajel, Al-Mandaq, Al-Jumum, Riyadh Al-Khubra and Sharurah.
