Subsequent vertiports will be located at Palm Jumeirah, Marina, and Dubai Mall, offering integrated connectivity throughout the city.
Beyond Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah will accommodate two vertiports at Jebel Jais and the Wynn Resort on Al Marjan Island. Construction will get under way in 2026 and go into commercial service by 2027 under deals with the RAK Transport Authority, Joby, and Skyports.
The prices of tickets for the futuristic transportation service are estimated to range from $200 to $300 per traveler, an amount Walker called competitive with taxi fares on similar routes. Notably, the vertiports will accommodate any helicopter, as part of the UAE s wider efforts to transform its public transit network into a more modern system.
