(Web Desk) Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei, has an estimated net worth of $20 billion which makes him the richest monarch in the world.

He is known globally for owning an extensive fleet of around 7,000 luxury vehicles including Rolls Royce, Ferraris, Koenigseggs, etc., and multiple private jets.

Brunei is rich in oil and natural gas reserves which not only allow the Sultan to maintain an extravagant lifestyle but also enable him to provide a tax-free living to his people.

It is estimated that the Sultan’s collection of luxury vehicles is valued at $5 billion. There are 600 Rolls Royce cars, over 300 Ferraris, and about 134 Koenigseggs in his fleet of vehicles.

Apart from this, the Sultan also owns private jets with gold-plated interiors including Boeing 747-400 and Airbus 340-200.

The Sultan’s obsession with the luxurious lifestyle goes beyond expensive cars and jets. There are reports about him spending $21,000 on a single haircut.

Once the richest person in the world, the Sultan currently resides with his family in a lavish 1,788-room palace in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei’s capital.
