AJMER SHARIF: (Web Desk) India’s second richest person and chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani visited the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Rajasthan.

Accompanied by his wife Preeti Adani. Adani offered a velvet cloth and flowers at the shrine, while Sajjada Nasheen Haji Syed Salman Chishti warmly welcomed the Adani family and shared the spiritual significance of the shrine with them.

Ajmer Sharif is one of the most important and sacred places in India, where people from different religions come to offer prayers. Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti’s teachings are based on principles of tolerance, love, and humanity, which are still remembered with great respect today.

The shrine is made of marble and gold layers, with the main tomb protected by silver mesh and marble walls. Mughal Emperor Akbar used to visit the shrine every year, and Shah Jahan had built a mosque within the shrine complex.

Last month, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, presented a cloth on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Urs (annual festival). The government has taken several steps to improve the arrangements for the Urs, including the launch of the "Gharib Nawaz" app.

Gautam Adani prayed for the prosperity and safety of the country at this sacred place, adding further meaning to the spiritual atmosphere of the shrine.
