President Trump has said in his strong statement that India will not be exempted from this tariff. The BRICS countries formed an alliance with the intention of weakening the US economy and challenging the dollar on a global scale, but the US will not tolerate this under any circumstances.
He said, "If anyone wants to challenge the dollar, we will not allow it. The establishment of BRICS is actually an economic weapon against us, and we will respond effectively to it."

Economists say that this decision will severely damage India s exports, as the United States is India s largest trading partner.
On the other hand, economic circles in New Delhi have called this move a diplomatic and economic defeat for India.
Analysts say that India s current foreign policy and unbalanced participation in BRICS are now becoming a burden on India itself. As a result of US tariffs, India s export industry, especially the technology and textile sectors, could come under severe pressure.
