WhatsApp users can now change their profile photo by selecting an image directly from their phone gallery, selecting a digital avatar, or creating an AI photo.
But with this new feature, they will have the option to use their Instagram or Facebook profile picture on WhatsApp as well.
The report stated that this feature is optional and will be turned off by default, while to use it, the WhatsApp account must be added to the Meta Account Center, however, this will not affect the privacy of users.
As mentioned above, this feature is currently in beta, so it is difficult to say when it will be rolled out to all users.
