Citizens faced difficulties during the disruption in the internet service. It was, however, restored in some areas after the brief disruption.

No specific reason could be found for the disruption in the internet service across Pakistan.

It is to be noted here that the responsibility of suspending and restoring the Internet rests with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and telecom operators.

The PTA sources said that the reason behind the disruption in the internet service was being investigated.
