The state-of-the-art mobile application named “Shanakht” was developed by pupils from Turbat University in Kech district of Balochistan.

The app provides law enforcement with fast and comprehensive access to information about suspects involved in criminal activities or fugitives, making it an essential tool for crime prevention and the apprehension of offenders.

It took four months to develop the app, which was specifically designed to address crime. Once completed, it was officially handed over to the District Kech Police.

Kech Superintendent of Police (SP) Rashid-ur-Rehman lauded the cohort of students for the designing the application and praised their creativity and dedication. In recognition of their innovative contribution to combat crimes, he awarded certificates to them.
