In Pakistan, the authorized distributor of Apple, Mercantile, has started the iPhone exchange programme for the first time. From March 7, iPhone users can trade in their old phones and pay the remaining price difference to get a new iPhone.
However, there are some conditions for Pakistani iPhone users to benefit from this offer.
Customers who want to exchange their old iPhones for new ones must have phones that are PTA-approved. The phone should be an iPhone 11 or later, be fully active, and never have been repaired.
Additionally, users must have the original box of their iPhone with the IMEI code printed on it.
The plan mentioned that the price of the old iPhone will be determined based on its condition, but there is no fixed price.
Usually, customers sell their old iPhones in the market when upgrading, but it has now introduced this option for them.
It has partnered with Pakistani telecom company Jazz for the iPhone Exchange offer. Customers can avail of this service at Jazz centers in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.
