LAHORE (Web Desk): NVIDIA has confirmed it will establish a major new $1.5 billion research and development (R&D) campus in Israel, affirming the country’s role as a strategic “second home” for the company.

NVIDIA has confirmed it will build a major new R&D campus in Kiryat Tivon, in northern Israel. The company said Israel has become a strategic “second home” due to its strong role in innovation and technology.

The project will be developed over several years and will involve an investment worth ‘multi-billion shekels’. The construction of the campus is planned to begin in 2027, while full operations are expected to start in 2031. The site will cover about 22 acres and include nearly 160,000 square meters of built space.

The campus will house advanced laboratories, shared workspaces, and collaboration hubs. Large green areas will also be part of the design to support a modern and healthy work environment.

NVIDIA said the campus design is inspired by its headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The goal is to encourage innovation inside the company and strengthen Israel’s wider technology ecosystem.
