(Web Desk): Former atheist Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has revealed that he now believes in God, marking a major spiritual shift from his previous agnostic and atheist views.

The billionaire explained that he respects the maker of the universe, saying, “God is the Creator.” He added, “I believe this universe came from something. People have different labels [for God].” Musk made these comments during an appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast, hosted by Stephen Miller’s wife.

This is the latest in a series of statements showing a significant change in Musk’s personal beliefs. Since 2022, the 54-year-old entrepreneur has spoken multiple times about a growing respect for core Christian values. He admitted that he was previously a “fool for not appreciating its profound wisdom.” Last year, Musk even called himself a “cultural Christian,” praising Jesus’ teachings on love, kindness, and forgiveness for their wisdom and value to society.

During the podcast, Musk also speculated that our universe could be part of a massive computer simulation, suggesting that our lives may be nothing more than “somebody’s video game.” He further imagined that the world could be an “alien Netflix series,” meaning life’s purpose might be to keep humanity interesting and increase “ratings” to prevent the creator from turning the simulation off.

“If you apply Darwin to simulation theory, then only the most interesting simulations will continue,” Musk said on the December 9 episode. “Therefore, the most interesting outcome is most likely because it’s either that or annihilation. So, really, we have one goal. Keep it interesting.”

Musk’s spiritual evolution has coincided with his political shift to the right. He has supported Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, formed the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and openly criticized so-called “woke” culture.

He has repeatedly posted on X that the “woke mind virus” has become a religion for the political left and conflicts with Christianity. “Woke is a religion that filled the void that Christianity left,” he wrote on August 25. He also said, “There seems to be an innate need for religion. Many atheists simply adopt another belief system (e.g., wokeness) that is essentially a religion.”

Musk has also publicly blamed “woke” culture for influencing his estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson (formerly Xavier Alexander Musk), to transition.

Elon Musk’s journey from atheism to belief highlights a profound personal change. He combines faith with futuristic ideas like simulation theory. His political and cultural views seem shaped by this shift, blending religion, philosophy, and modern societal commentary.
