As per Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the PM on Industries and Production, his aim is to make 30% of cars electric by 2030; thus, launching the “Benly E” when the National Electric Vehicle policy has been updated is the perfect timing for both consumers and Atlas Honda.
Moreover, since this scooter is specifically designed for Pakistani riders, Atlas Honda had done a soft launch in 2023, testing it on roads to see how it would perform in Pakistani weather and streets.

Atlas Honda seems confident in their electric scooters – so confident that they want to launch it this fiscal year, as they have been working with regulatory authorities to permit the commercial release of the scooty, as it has been already tested for endurance and quality on Pakistani roads.
If even one third of the 26 million bikes in Pakistan switch to electric in the future, it would be a game changer for the environment of Pakistan and the health of its citizens, not to mention the biggest source of carbon emissions in Pakistan is from road traffic, as per environmental reports.
With this, Pakistan is diving headfirst into a future of sustainability and a greener, better future for its public.
