According to recent leaks, this new model will feature the most powerful battery ever seen in an iPhone and could also become the most expensive Apple phone to date.

Insiders reveal that the foldable iPhone will come with a massive 5000 to 5500 mAh battery — significantly larger than any battery Apple has used before. For comparison, the current iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4685 mAh battery.

As for the price, reports suggest the phone could cost around 15,000 Chinese yuan in China, which is approximately 2,090 US dollars. This might be Apple’s priciest iPhone yet, as the price may even be higher in other countries.

It was hinted that the foldable iPhone might be unveiled in the second half of 2026 (between July and December) as per early reports from June 2025.

This is exciting news for Apple fans. However, this phone will likely be placed in the luxury category due to its premium price and unique design, making it out of reach for many everyday users.
