LAHORE (Web Desk): Manchester United looked set for a thrilling win after late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha appeared to seal a 4-3 lead. However, Eli Junior Kroupi scored a late equalizer to earn Bournemouth a share of the points.

Fernandes curled in a perfect free-kick before Cunha scored just two minutes later when a cross deflected into his path. United fans thought the game was finally over.

Earlier, United had taken control through Amad Diallo, who started and finished a smooth team move to open the scoring. The visitors pressed hard and created several chances, showing strong attacking intent.

But defensive errors kept Bournemouth alive. Antoine Semenyo scored with a powerful long-range effort after Luke Shaw was outmuscled on the flank. Casemiro later restored United’s lead with a header from a corner before Bournemouth hit back again.

Bournemouth’s second equaliser came after loose defending from young centre-backs Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven, allowing Evanilson to score calmly. Soon after, another mistake led to Marcus Tavernier’s free-kick sneaking past goalkeeper Senne Lammens.

United responded with urgency as manager Ruben Amorim made changes, bringing on fresh legs to regain control. The attack clicked again late on, but defensive discipline failed one last time.

Kroupi punished United’s fragile back line with a composed finish, completing a stunning 4-4 scoreline and silencing hopes of a much-needed away win.

Despite the draw, United’s attacking numbers remain strong, but their defence continues to leak goals, raising fresh questions about balance and consistency under Amorim.
