Lahore (Web Desk): The Hyderabad Kingsmen have set a modest target of 146 for Peshawar Zalmi after a disciplined bowling performance restricted them to 145 all out in 18.2 overs.

After being put in to bat first, the Kingsmen struggled to find momentum against a relentless Zalmi attack. Despite a few aggressive boundaries in the powerplay, wickets fell at regular intervals, preventing the middle order from building a substantial partnership.

The Peshawar bowlers utilized the conditions perfectly, mixing variations and maintaining a tight line that stifled the Kingsmen's scoring rate.

Peshawar Zalmi now require 146 runs at a required rate of 7.3 per over. With Captain Babar Azam leading the chase, the Zalmi dugout appears confident.

However, the Kingsmen will look to their spin department, led by Maaz Sadaqat and Hassan Khan, to produce early breakthroughs on a pitch that is beginning to show signs of turn.

As the lights take full effect in Karachi, all eyes are on whether Hyderabad’s bowlers can defend this sub-par total or if Zalmi will cruise to a comfortable victory.
