Karachi (Web Desk): Hyderabad Kingsmen defeated Islamabad United by 6 wickets in the PSL match after chasing a target of 154 runs with strong batting and disciplined bowling.

The exciting contest took place at the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi during the 21st match of the Pakistan Super League’s eleventh edition. Hyderabad Kingsmen successfully chased the target of 154 runs in the 19th over, losing four wickets.

Captain Marnus Labuschagne led the team from the front with a brilliant unbeaten 61 runs, guiding Kingsmen to a comfortable victory. His calm and confident batting helped the team maintain control of the chase.

Saim Ayub also played an important role by scoring 35 runs, while Moez Sadaqat contributed 30 runs. Glenn Maxwell added 21 runs to strengthen the innings. However, Usman Khan and Kusal Perera could not stay long at the crease and were dismissed early.

For Islamabad United, Faheem Ashraf and Chris Green managed to take two wickets each, but their efforts were not enough to stop Kingsmen’s steady chase.

Earlier in the match, Islamabad United batted first after being invited to play by Hyderabad Kingsmen. They managed to score 153 runs in their 20 overs.

Devon Conway was the top scorer for United with 45 runs, while Mark Chapman supported with 42 runs. Sameer Minhas scored 22 and Mohammad Faiq added 18 runs. Other players struggled to build momentum, with several batsmen dismissed for small scores.

Hyderabad Kingsmen’s bowling attack was led by Asif Mehmood, who delivered an outstanding performance and took four wickets. Mohammad Ali took two wickets, while Glenn Maxwell picked up one wicket to help restrict United’s total.

The victory is an important boost for Hyderabad Kingsmen as they look to climb higher in the tournament standings. The win also keeps the PSL competition intense as teams battle for better positions on the points table.
