Moin Khan Rajput held a prominent place in the city’s sports history, with decades of service dedicated to training and mentoring young cricketers. His funeral prayers were offered at Mehboob Cricket Ground in Unit 5, Latifabad, where a large number of players, former cricketers, sports organizers, political figures, and notable individuals from various walks of life attended.

Afterward, he was laid to rest in a local graveyard, where fans and fellow players bid him a tearful farewell. Attendees said he was not only an outstanding cricketer but also a compassionate mentor, a supportive guide, and a humble human being. Members of Mehboob Sports Cricket Club said his death is an irreparable loss to both the club and the city’s cricket community, noting that he trained hundreds of young players over his long career.
Political and social leaders also expressed deep sorrow over his passing, stating that his contributions to sports development and youth engagement in positive activities will always be remembered.
