Saim Ayub to remain out of cricket for 10 weeks, PCB confirms

LAHORE: (Web Desk) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued an update on Saim Ayub's injury, stating that the Pakistani opener will be out of cricket for 10 weeks.
Saim Ayub, Pakistan’s opening batter, suffered an injury in the second Test match against South Africa. He was sent to London for medical treatment.
As per details, as Saim Ayub sustained an ankle injury during match against South Africa on January 3, and he will be out of cricket for 10 weeks.
In a statement, the PCB said that the doctor recommended 10 weeks of rest for Saim Ayub after examining his MRI scan, X-ray, and other medical reports.
Ayub s participation in the New Zealand tour will depend on his fitness. The white-ball series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from March 16 to April 5.
