(Web Desk): Mike Hesson dismissed the news regarding Babar Azam's wicketkeeping as rumors and said that no such decision is under consideration.

Reacting to media reports, Mike Hesson said that there is no talk of including Babar Azam in the team as a wicketkeeper. He said that Babar is currently competing for the opening position in the T20 squad, but Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub are currently in that role.

Mike Hesson said that Babar s return to the team will depend on improvement in batting. He will also have to prove his abilities in a new way. It should be remembered that Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were left out of the team in the recent Bangladesh series.

Both players are currently part of an ongoing training camp in Karachi where their performance is being evaluated. Furthermore, the coach said that Babar has tried to change his batting.

It should be noted that Babar Azam has been a regular opener for the T20 team in the past. However, under the team s new style and strategy, each player will get a place based on performance.
