
Pakistan beat West Indies by 13 runs in a thrilling final T20 match on Sunday in Lauderhill, Florida, winning the three-match series 2-1.
Pakistan had won the first match by 14 runs, while West Indies took the second by two wickets, setting up a tense decider.
After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first. Openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub gave a great start, building a 138-run partnership. Farhan scored 74 runs off 53 balls, smashing five sixes and three fours, while Ayub made 66 off 49, hitting two sixes and four fours.

Farhan was caught by Shai Hope in the 17th over. After that, Hasan Nawaz scored just 15, Mohammad Haris got run out for 2, and Ayub was caught on the last ball of the 19th over. Pakistan ended with 189/4.
Chasing 190, West Indies started strong, scoring 30 runs in the first 10 balls. But Jewel Andrew was the first wicket to fall for 24. Hope, Athanaze (60 runs), Chase, and Holder (0) followed. West Indies needed 41 off 16 balls, but couldn’t keep up.
Sherfane Rutherford hit a six to complete his half-century, but was dismissed for 51. West Indies fell short, ending the match with a loss.
Pakistan’s solid opening stand gave them early control, even as the middle order faltered. West Indies struggled to bounce back after losing key wickets, with Pakistan’s tight bowling sealing the match. The win reflects Pakistan’s improving form and squad depth ahead of upcoming tournaments.
