Pakistan beat England to qualify for World Championship of Legends semi-final

BIRMINGHAM: (Web Desk) Pakistan qualified for the semi-final of the World Championship of Legends 2024 by defeating England by 79 runs.

England won the toss and elected to bowl first in the crucial match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 played in Birmingham.

The green shirts scored 196 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sahib Maqsood scored 64 runs and Shoaib Malik scored 51 runs.

Apart from this, Misbah-ul-Haq scored 23 runs and Abdul Razzaq scored 20 runs.

Chasing the Pakistan champions’ target of 197 runs, the England team was bowled out for only 117 runs.

Phil Mustard scored 30 and Kevin O Brien scored 24 runs. On behalf of Green Shirts, Saeed Ajmal sent 3 players and Abdul Razzaq 2 players to the pavilion.

It should be noted here that Pakistan Champions won the fourth consecutive victory in the World Championship of Legends 2024.

The Green Shirts, who are unbeaten in the event so far, made it to the semi-finals after that.
