(Web Desk): Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf has been fined 30 percent of his match fee by the International Cricket Council for making hand gestures during an Asia Cup match.

According to a private TV channel, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will personally pay the fine on behalf of Haris Rauf. Naqvi, who is also the President of the Asian Cricket Council, is set to arrive in Dubai from the United States.

Upon his arrival, the PCB chairman is expected to meet the national cricket team and will also watch the high-voltage Pakistan-India final. He will present the trophy to the winning team after the match.

Match referee Richie Richardson questioned Haris Rauf about his ‘6-0 gesture’ after the Indian board raised objections. Rauf cleverly asked what possible meaning could be drawn from the gesture, leaving the referee without a clear answer.
