(Web Desk): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced its June Player of the Month winners: Aiden Markram for men and Hayley Matthews for women.

South Africa’s captain, Aiden Markram, earned the accolade after a stellar all-round performance in the ICC World Test Championship Final at Lord’s. His match-winning innings of 136 and key wickets helped South Africa secure their first ICC men’s title in 27 years. Markram described the award as a “privilege,” expressing pride in contributing to a historic win for his country.

West Indies skipper Hayley Matthews claimed the women’s award for the fourth time, following a dominant T20I series against South Africa. She scored 147 runs and took 2 wickets, earning acclaim for her match-winning all-round performances.
