(Web Desk): Haseebullah khan merging Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter has dismissed recent rumors about a possible switch to England’s national cricket team.

He emphasized that his presence in England is purely for professional commitments and that he remains loyal to Pakistan.

The 22 year old, who arrived in England to fulfill his county cricket contract and sponsorship obligations, took to Instagram on Sunday to address the speculation head on:

“I would like to inform you all that I have arrived in England in connection with my domestic county contract and sponsorship obligations,” he wrote, clarifying his intentions. He went on to state clearly:

These remarks come in the wake of a widely circulated Facebook post claiming that Haseebullah had met with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) agents to discuss a future in English cricket—claims the wicketkeeper-batter has firmly rejected.

Since making his debut, Haseebullah has featured in three T20 Internationals for Pakistan, aggregating 36 runs at an average of 12. He also played a single match for Quetta Gladiators in the most recent Pakistan Super League, scoring seven runs, and totals 35 T20 matches in his expanding career with 599 runs, including three half-centuries, at an average of 19.96 and a strike rate of 118.37.

Haseebullah’s open clarification both supports his professionalism and sends a strong signal of allegiance to Pakistani cricket. As he prepares to compete in England s county circuit, the 22-year-old remains focused on developing his game and retaining his position in Pakistan’s plans.
