(Web Desk): Pakistan’s weather today remains dry as Ramazan begins, with chilly mornings and nights forecast across northern regions, the weather department predicts.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly dry weather across most parts of the country as Ramazan begins, while chilly conditions are expected during early morning and nighttime hours in several regions.

Islamabad and Punjab Weather Update

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, dry weather is expected throughout the day. However, residents observing the first Sehri and Iftar will feel a noticeable drop in temperatures during the morning and late evening hours.

Across Punjab, most districts will experience dry conditions. Cold weather is likely in the morning and at night, particularly in upper regions. The PMD has also predicted light fog in northeastern districts during early hours, which may reduce visibility for commuters.

Hill stations including Murree and the scenic Galiyat region will remain dry but cold, especially during morning and nighttime periods.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also expected to witness predominantly dry weather, although upper regions may experience colder temperatures in the early and late hours of the day.

Meanwhile, Balochistan will remain mostly dry, with northern districts likely to face colder conditions during the morning and nighttime.

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Forecast

In Kashmir, cold and dry weather is forecast overall, with the possibility of severe thunderstorms during morning and nighttime hours. Similarly, Gilgit-Baltistan will experience cold and dry conditions, with chances of thunderstorms in early and late hours.

Despite the lingering chill in upper regions, the predominantly dry weather across Pakistan is expected to support smooth travel and outdoor activities as families begin Ramazan prayers and gatherings.
