(Web Desk): Pakistan weather update: Cloudy skies prevail as rain expected in next 24 hours, following Lahore rainfall and hailstorm that brought cooler temperatures.

According to the latest update from the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the city is likely to experience partly cloudy weather today, with temperatures expected to range between 18°C and 31°C.

Humidity levels have been recorded at 73%, while wind speeds remain relatively calm at around 6 km/h, contributing to a moderate and pleasant atmosphere. However, changing weather patterns indicate a shift toward wetter conditions.

The meteorological department has forecast a high probability of rain within the next 24 hours, urging residents to take precautionary measures, especially in low-lying areas and during travel.

Experts Link Weather Shift to Rising Humidity

Weather experts suggest that the recent increase in humidity levels combined with a drop in temperature is a clear indicator of incoming rainfall. These atmospheric changes are typical during seasonal transitions and often result in scattered showers or thunderstorms.

Lahore Weather Yesterday: Rain and Hailstorm Bring Relief

A day earlier, Lahore experienced rainfall accompanied by hailstorm, significantly lowering temperatures and bringing relief from warmer conditions.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that temperatures in Lahore dropped to 26°C, with cool winds blowing at 15 km/h and humidity recorded at 53%. The rain not only improved weather conditions but also enhanced air quality in the region.

Further rainfall is also expected in Lahore over the next 24 hours, suggesting a continuing wet spell across parts of Punjab.

Rainfall to Impact Daily Life

With rain forecast across multiple areas, authorities advise citizens to remain cautious, particularly during commuting hours. Wet roads, reduced visibility, and potential urban flooding may disrupt routine activities.
