Health experts warn that harmful particles in the polluted air can exacerbate respiratory, cardiac, and eye-related ailments. People with weaker immune systems are at higher risk of health complications due to poor air quality.
The advisory urges citizens to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Children, the elderly, and patients with asthma, heart conditions, or respiratory diseases are specifically advised to stay indoors as much as possible and limit exposure during peak smog hours.

Officials have recommended keeping windows and doors closed in homes and offices to prevent polluted air from entering. Residents are also advised to wear masks consistently, avoid smoke-filled environments, and stay hydrated.
The health department further advised that in case of eye irritation, breathing difficulties, or any severe symptoms, individuals should seek immediate medical attention at the nearest hospital or clinic.
Additionally, the advisory calls for avoiding non-essential travel on the roads, as vehicle emissions contribute significantly to worsening air quality.
