The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy skies with isolated rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds across parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan during the next 24 hours, while most other regions will experience cold and dry conditions.
According to the PMD, hailstorms may occur at a few locations, particularly in areas affected by thunderstorms. The weather outlook indicates a mix of cloud cover and brief rainfall spells in select districts, with temperatures remaining low across much of the country.
Islamabad and Surrounding Areas
The federal capital, Islamabad, and nearby regions are expected to witness cold and dry weather with partly cloudy skies, with no significant rainfall anticipated.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather Update
Most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain cold and dry, while very cold conditions are expected in upper districts. However, isolated rain and thunderstorms may occur in Waziristan, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Parachinar, and adjoining areas.

Punjab Weather Forecast
In Punjab, the majority of districts will continue to experience cold and dry weather. Meanwhile, southern and central Punjab—including Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Khanewal and Sahiwal—may receive isolated rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds.
Sindh Outlook
Weather across Sindh will largely remain dry with partly cloudy skies. However, isolated thunderstorms are expected in Dadu, Jamshoro, Larkana, Jacobabad, Karachi and Hyderabad, along with surrounding areas.
Balochistan to See Rain and Hail
Several districts of Balochistan are likely to experience cloudy weather with intermittent rain, wind and thunderstorms. Affected areas include Chaman, Quetta, Pishin, Muslim Bagh, Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibbi, Kalat, Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Awaran, Lasbella, Khuzdar and Gwadar. Hailstorms may occur at a few locations, the PMD warned.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will remain cold and partly cloudy, with isolated rain and thunderstorms possible in parts of Kashmir.
