By combining CESVI’s field expertise in climate response with NICAT’s high-tech startup ecosystem, the partnership is positioned to accelerate the development and deployment of impactful climate-tech solutions nationwide.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Farhan Ahmed Khan, Country Director, CESVI, and Mr. Shayan Yar, Project Director, NICAT, reflecting a shared commitment to deploying innovation-driven solutions for climate resilience and disaster preparedness.
Under this partnership, NICAT will serve as a technology partner to CESVI, providing access to its portfolio of high-tech startups working across climate-tech and deep-tech domains.
CESVI will explore and integrate solutions developed by NICAT-incubated startups specializing in Geostatistical and geospatial analytics, IoT-based environmental and disaster monitoring systems, Climate disaster simulation and risk modeling platforms and Data-driven decision-support technologies.
Through this collaboration, CESVI aims to strengthen its on-ground climate initiatives by incorporating scalable, technology-backed solutions designed to enhance disaster response, mitigation strategies, and community resilience.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Farhan Ahmed Khan, Country Director, CESVI, stated:
