Murree and the surrounding Galliyat region are set to witness continuous snowfall from January 17 to January 22, 2026, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). This prolonged winter spell is expected to bring significant travel disruptions and potential road closures.

Weather Forecast and Temperatures:
PMD reports extremely cold conditions this week, with temperatures dropping to -3°C on January 14. Snowfall chances begin on January 17 and peak at 75% probability on January 20–21. Daytime highs are forecast between 7°C and 10°C, while night temperatures may fall below freezing, increasing the risk of icy roads.
