Light drizzle in several parts of Lahore turned the weather pleasant on Wednesday, offering relief to residents after fluctuating temperatures in recent days.
Areas including Township and Johar Town received mild rainfall, which brought down the temperature slightly and created a refreshing atmosphere across the city. Residents were seen enjoying the cooler breeze as clouds covered much of the skyline.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, weather conditions in northeast Punjab are expected to remain partly cloudy over the next few hours. The department has also forecast light rain or drizzle at isolated locations in the region.
Meteorologists say the presence of cloud cover may cause a slight drop in temperature, helping ease daytime heat. However, no heavy rainfall has been predicted at this stage.

Weather experts added that the current system is relatively mild but could improve air quality temporarily by settling dust particles. Commuters are advised to drive carefully on slippery roads during drizzle.
The pleasant change in weather comes as many residents look forward to more consistent rainfall to counter dry spells. Authorities have not issued any warning, stating that conditions remain stable.
Overall, the light rain has provided a welcome break, making the atmosphere cooler and more comfortable across Lahore and surrounding areas.
