The Met Office anticipates a noticeable drop in nighttime temperatures over the next 24 hours in the city of Karachi, settling between 13°C and 15°C. The PMD explained that continental air currently dominates most of the country, which is what is intensifying the winter chill.
Nationwide, the forecast remains cold and dry, with severe cold expected to hit high-altitude areas tomorrow. Furthermore, visibility is likely to be significantly reduced during early morning and late-night travel hours due to worsening foggy weather across the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The Met Office also cautioned that both daytime and nighttime temperatures in the northern regions could continue to fall in the coming days.
This shift suggests a strong influx of northern winds, likely to make the urban cold feel more biting despite the modest drop in minimum temperatures.
