Pakistan’s Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall in various parts of the country, although most regions are expected to continue experiencing cold and dry conditions.
According to the latest advisory, Islamabad will remain cold and dry in the coming days. Similar weather conditions are expected across much of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, though the northern belt of the province may see a change in weather patterns.
The Met Office has predicted rain for several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Dir, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Haripur, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Orakzai, Khyber, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, and North and South Waziristan.
Snowfall is also expected over mountainous areas in the upper districts, as temperatures remain low throughout the region. These conditions could impact travel and daily activities, especially in northern areas.
Meanwhile, most parts of Sindh and Balochistan are likely to stay cold and dry, with no significant precipitation expected. Residents are advised to prepare for chilly weather and protect themselves from the cold.

For Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, cold weather is forecasted to persist, with partly cloudy skies across the regions. Authorities have urged citizens to stay alert for sudden changes in weather and take necessary precautions.
Meteorologists say the cold and wet conditions in the northern districts could continue for several days, affecting normal routines and transportation, while southern regions will mostly remain dry.
