(Web Desk): Changing weather conditions hit major cities as rain, drizzle and dense fog affected Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi, intensifying cold, reducing visibility and disrupting road and air travel.

Rain and drizzle were recorded in several areas of Lahore amid persistent dense fog, leading to a noticeable increase in cold intensity. Light rain occurred in Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Shahpur Kanjran and surrounding areas of Chuhng, making roads slippery and further reducing visibility. According to the Meteorological Department, Lahore’s minimum temperature is expected to remain around 11°C, while the maximum may reach 21°C.

Meanwhile, Islamabad experienced rainfall accompanied by thunder, turning the weather pleasant and easing heat and humidity. Rain was reported in key areas including Blue Area, Zero Point, G-7 and F-7, while light to moderate showers continued around Kashmir Highway and D-Chowk, leaving roads wet and traffic slow-moving.
